Frank Surowka, age 73, of St. Charles, passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at Delnor Hospital in Geneva with his loving family by his side.
He was born September 16, 1949, in Chicago, the son of Stanley and Bernice Surowka.
Frank graduated from Northern Illinois University in 1971 with a degree in Industrial Engineering. He worked at Case New Holland in Racine, Wisconsin until his retirement. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. One of Frank’s passions was restoring and collecting Chevrolet Corvairs. He also enjoyed being outdoors whether it was traveling somewhere new especially anywhere with a beach or working on his pond. One of his favorite past times was going to happy hour with his friends at Henry and Wanda’s.
He is survived by his children Adam (Carolyn) of Indianola, Rachel of Colorado, and Bethany of Danville; grandchildren Daniel, Andrew, and Nathan; and many other dear family and friends.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, brothers Stanley and John, and son Matthew.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 18, 2023 from 3:00 pm until the time of his Memorial Service at 5:00 pm at Malone Funeral Home, 324 E. State Street (Route 38), Geneva.
