Enrique Reyes

Enrique “Nick” “Nacho” Reyes, age 89, of St. Charles, passed away Monday, October 11, 2021 at home with his family by his side.

He was born December 16, 1931, in Mexico.

Enrique worked as a welder for many years.  He was always in good shape and loved to dance, garden, and was an avid walker. However, his greatest enjoyment was spending time with his friends and family.  He will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his daughter Ruth Weismann of St. Charles; grandchildren Rachel and Jeremy Weismann; great-grandchildren Noah, Tristan, and Jaxxon Weismann; and many other dear relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son Jaime Reyes; siblings Ismael Reyes, Eliseo Reyes, Gabriel Reyes, and Maria Serrato; and loving wife Lidia (Ramirez) Reyes who passed away in 2010.

A visitation will be held Sunday, October 17, 2021 from 4:00 pm until the time of his funeral service at 6:30 pm at Malone Funeral Home, 324 E. State Street (Route 38), Geneva.

Burial will be held privately.
