Diane Wollenberg

Diane Casimira Wollenberg, age 78, of DeKalb, formerly of Elmhurst passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at Northwestern Medicine Kishwaukee Hospital in DeKalb.

She was born March 4, 1942, in Chicago, the daughter of Casimir & Jean (Bednarek) Pierog.

Diane loved making her home a happy place, decorating cakes and making homemade cards.  However, her favorite pastime was caring for and spending time with her husband, two sons, three grandchildren, pets and friends. 

She is survived by her sons Paul (Cori) and Keith (Julie) both of St. Charles; grandchildren Luke, Sophia, and Brandon; Brother Dennis (Patricia) Pierog; and many other dear relatives and friends.

A private visitation and funeral service for Diane will be held at a later date. With Chaplain - Lance Mennen officiating, at Malone Funeral Home, 324 E. State Street (Route 38), Geneva.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago Foundation, 225 E. Chicago Avenue, Box 4, Chicago, Illinois 60611‐2991 would be appreciated.
