David C. Hasenheyer

David C. Hasenheyer, age 77, of Geneva, passed away Monday, November 4, 2019 at Delnor Hospital in Geneva.

He was born October 15, 1942 in Berlin, Wisconsin, the son of Roy and Lorraine (Hessler) Hasenheyer.

David graduated from West Chicago High School in 1962. He was a resident of Geneva for 51 years.  A header machinist by trade, he owned and operated E.C. Rivet, Inc. for 29 years until his retirement in 2010.  He loved the Lord as his personal Savior and was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend to everyone he met. David was an avid fisherman and enjoyed annual trips to Balsam Lake in Wisconsin.  He will be missed by all, but as the Bible promises we will see him again in Heaven.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years Ruth (Weber), daughters Christine (Dave) Todd of Geneva, Kimberly (Mark) Kolkman of Naperville, and Corrine Hasenheyer of Geneva; grandchildren Connor and Kellyn Todd, Kori Kasper, Andrew and Trevor Kolkman, and Lucas Hasenheyer; and many other dear relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Sharon Hasenheyer, Vicki Davis, and two infant siblings.

Visitation for David will be held Saturday, November 30, 2019 from 10 am until the time of his memorial service at noon at Malone Funeral Home, 324 E. State Street, Geneva.
