Dale E. Wians

Dale Edmund Wians, age 74, passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2025.

Dale was born June 1, 1951, in Chicago, the son of Edmund and Audrey (Swedlund) Wians.

He was a warm and dedicated family man who was always ready with a joke and a laugh. An avid cyclist who enjoyed the outdoors and being near water, he was also a baseball player, Cubs fan and never said no to chocolate.

Dale is survived by his sons Matthew (Erin) of St. Charles and Michael (Angelika) of Geneva; and granddaughter Sophia. He is also survived by his siblings Randy and Toni.  He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Linda and Larry.

A visitation for Dale, Jackie, and Brandon will be held Sunday, August 24, 2025 from 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm at Malone Funeral Home, 324 E. State Street (Route 38), Geneva.

Burial will be held privately.
