Carolyn Pankow, age 92, of St. Charles, formerly of Geneva, passed away Saturday, February 28, 2026 at home with her loving family by her side.
She was born November 17, 1933, in Oak Park, the daughter of Arthur and Ella (Houlberg) Redis.
She is survived by her children Lynn (Merle) Ogden of Geneva, Doug (Tracey) of Geneva, Julie (Scott) Dallesasse of Georgia, Sandy (Jim) Higgins of Naperville, and Mike (Brandy) of Georgia; grandchildren Jack (Ilena) Ogden, Dan (Barbara) and Tyler Hubbs (Kenz Rich), Christopher (Kari), Hannah, and Judson Pankow, Catie (Jon) Swedo, Matthew (Starla), Ryan Abigail), and Kevin Dallesasse, and Ben (Kennedy) and Tommy Higgins (Hannah Mansfield); 13 great grandchildren; siblings Jackie (Bill) Cusac of Texas and Lorraine (Herb) of Burr Ridge; and many other dear relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her devoted husband of nearly 50 years, Charles “Chuck” who passed away in 2002.
A visitation for Carolyn will be held Friday, March 6, 2026 from 9:00 am until the time of her funeral service at 11:00 am at Malone Funeral Home, 324 E. State Street (Route 38), Geneva with Rev. Rick George officiating.
A private burial will follow at Clarendon Hills Cemetery in Darien.
