Carol A. (Dodson) Lanclos

Carol Ann Lanclos, age 71, of North Aurora, passed away Friday, April 10, 2020 at Delnor Hospital in Geneva.

She was born September 3, 1948, in England, the daughter of Ronald and Margaret (Kearney) Dodson.

Carol enjoyed walks with her dog, beaches, knitting, reading, and lunch with friends. She took many trips and saw the world with Willie and never missed the opportunity for tea with her girls. She was a loving wife, mother, and nana who will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 49 years Wilson “Willie”; daughters Cathy Lanclos (Ken Bilodeau) of N. Aurora, Julie (Paul) Hoover of Brookfield, and Lindsay Langfield of Dixon; grandchildren Taylor Lanclos, Jordan Lanclos-Pannell, Gavin and Hayden Langfield, and Henry Hoover; and many other dear relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service for Carol will be held at a later date.

The family suggests making memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 and/or Animal House Shelter, 13005 Ernesti Rd, Huntley, IL 60142.
