Beverly J. Williams Obituary

Beverly J. Williams, age 77, of Batavia, passed away Monday, October 19, 2020, at Delnor Hospital in Geneva surrounded by her loving family.

She was born May 18, 1943 in Rockford, the daughter of Charles and Pearl (Tesmer) Alms.

Beverly worked as a hairdresser and cashier at Ace Hardware in Geneva for many years. She enjoyed reading, gel pen art, camping and puzzles. In her spare time, she worked at the Country Store in Heritage Woods Assisted Living Home. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister who will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her children Dana (Adam) Dowd of North Aurora and son Darin (Bobbi Sharp) of Maple Park; granddaughter Kristen Williams; siblings Roger and Richard Alms and Marilyn Mason; and many other dear relatives and friends.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Ronald & Rodney Alms.

A celebration of Beverly’s life will held at a later date.
