Bettyjean I German

Bettyjean I. German, age 71, of Geneva, passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at Delnor Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

She was born October 17, 1954, in Pawpaw, Michigan to Marlin and Betty (Gustafson) McLemore.

Bettyjean’s favorite title was Mimi. She lived for her grandchildren. She babysat for the girls and had lots of sleepovers. She loved to bake and cook with the children.

Bettyjean is survived by her husband of 34 years, William; children David (Shannon) of Sycamore and Jennifer (Jeff) Gorcyca of Michigan; parents Marlin and Betty of Alabama; grandchildren Aubrey and Sophia Crawford, Charlie and Grayson Gorcyca; brother Eugene McLemore of Alabama.

She was preceded in death by her sister Cindy McLemore.

Services will be held privately.
