Armand Michaud

Armand Michaud, age 91, of East Dundee, passed away Saturday, June 14, 2025, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on February 8, 1934, in Fall River, Massachusetts, the son of John and Anita Platt.

Armand was a devoted husband to Deanna for 40 years. He served his country during the Korean War as an Air Traffic Controller. He spent the remainder of his career as an Air Traffic Controller for the Federal Government. He loved being active and enjoyed racket ball, running, biking and sailing.

He is survived by his wife Deanna; children Tom and Tammy Whitehill, Brandy Harrington, Timothy and Gina Whitehill, Jon and Jodie Michaud and Catherine and Bob Viecele; grandchildren Jamie (Cayla) Whitehill, Sean Whitehill and Nicole, Colton, Cayden, Jona, Ion, Bella (Colton Travis), Levi, Truitt, Sawyer and Averi Whitehill, Kyle Warford, Tony (Karyn) Warford, Tyler and Victoria Whitehill, C’Jay (Katie) March Banks, Amanda March Banks, J.D. Michaud, Jeffery (Olivia) Michaud and Bobby and Michael Viecele; great grandchildren Wesley Whitehill and Xavier Whitehill.

He was preceded in death by his parents and son Tod Whitehill.

Visitation will be held Friday, June 20, 2025, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at Malone  Funeral Home, 324 E. State Street (Route 38), Geneva with a Funeral Service at 11:00 am.

Burial will be held at Mount Greenwood Cemetery in Chicago.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Alzheimer’s Association (alz.org) 225 N. Michigan Ave. Chicago, IL 60601 would be appreciated.
