Anne G. Krahulec, age 67, of Geneva, passed away Friday, October 8, 2021, at Seasons Hospice in Naperville with her loving family by her side.
She was born August 22, 1954, in Niagara Falls, New York the daughter of John and Frances (O’Neill) Goldthorp.
Anne was a gifted musician and singer. She lent her talents to St. Peter’s church every week as well as accompanied Geneva Middle School’s musicals every year. As a life long FACS teacher, she inspired students to try new things and learn essential life skills, and of course the joy of ‘pizza bubble bread’. Anne retired from Geneva Middle School North in 2015.
Anne is survived by her loving husband of 40 years John; daughters Elizabeth Krahulec of Aurora and Katie Krahulec of St. Charles; brothers Brian Goldthorp of New York and John (Judy) Goldthorp of Texas; and many other dear relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral prayers for Anne will be held Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at 9:00 am at Malone Funeral Home, 324 E. State Street, Geneva proceeding to St. Peter Catholic Church, 1891 Kaneville Road, Geneva for celebration of Funeral Mass at 10:00 am with Father Jonathan Bakkelund, Celebrant.
Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Geneva.
Visitation will be held Monday, October 11 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at Malone Funeral Home with a liturgical wake service at 7:45 pm with Deacon Greg D’Anna officiating.
