Angelo J. Bollero, age 90, of Batavia, Illinois, passed away Monday, June 8, 2026, surrounded by family and friends.
He was born on March 9, 1936, in West Frankfort, Illinois, to Angelo and Margaret (Severino) Bollero.
Angelo was the embodiment of kindness, understanding and caring, in his personal, professional, and family lives. A PhD research chemist, savvy business man, devoted father and grandfather and marginal but enthusiastic golfer and fisherman.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Virginia Bollero; his son, Michael (Valerie) Bollero of Batavia; his daughter, Laura Goldsworthy of St. Charles; his grandchildren Benjamin (Zoe) Bollero, Margaret and Marlee Goldsworthy.
He is preceded in death by his parents, son-in-law Christopher Goldsworthy and granddaughter Amanda.
A visitation for Angelo will be held on Friday, June 12, 2026 from 10:00 am until the time of his funeral service at 1:00 pm at Malone Funeral Home, 324 E. State Street, Geneva, Illinois, with a luncheon to follow, also at Malone.
Interment will be held privately.
