Robert "Bob" Quinlan Obituary

Robert (Bob) J. Quinlan, age 71, and Maureen A. Quinlan, age 69, both of Geneva, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Rosewood Care Center in St.Charles and at Delnor Hospital in Geneva.

Bob was born December 17, 1946 in Chicago, the son of William and Catherine (Bowman) Quinlan.

Maureen was born November 8, 1948 in Chicago, the daughter of Richard and Irene Kelly.

Bob was a graduate of Loyola University Chicago.  He worked as a director of finance for the Kane County Forest Preserve for 23 years and Producers Livestock Credit Corporation for 14 years.  Bob was a leader of Boy Scout Troop 11 and coached soccer.

Maureen received her Master’s degree from North Central College in computer science.  Maureen worked for Lucent Technologies and AT&T for many years.  She enjoyed collecting Hallmark Ornaments and loved spending time with her grandchildren.  

Bob and Maureen were devoted spouses and were happily married for 49 years.  They were dedicated parents, grandparents and siblings, and will be dearly missed.

They are survived by their sons Richard and Bill Quinlan; grandchildren Keely, Conor, Aundrea, and Abby Quinlan; brother Bill (Sue) Quinlan of Evanston; sister Patricia (Bill) Johnson of Chicago; sister Susan (Pete) Reginski; and many nieces, nephews, and other dear friends and relatives.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Jack (Terrie) Quinlan.

Maureen was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation, funeral, and burial will be held privately.
