Raymond W. Morrison

Raymond W. Morrison, age 84, of Batavia, passed away Thursday, January 16, 2020 at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield with his loving family by his side.

He was born June 23, 1935 in Kankakee, the son of Raymond and Emma (Wirth) Morrison.

Raymond proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War.  He loved sports cars- specifically Mustangs and T-Birds.  Together, he and his wife Geri and son Curt owned and operated The Elm’s Restaurant for many years and also the former Dog N Suds both in Batavia.   His favorite pastime however was joking around with his family and friends, and he will be dearly missed.

Raymond is survived by his devoted wife of 62 years Geraldine “Geri” (Rozcicha); son Curt of Batavia; brother Gerald (Phyllis) Morrison; and many other dear relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Betty Bragg.

Visitation for Raymond will be held Wednesday, January 22, 2020 from 4:00 pm until the time of his service at 7:00 pm. at the Malone Funeral Home 324 E. State St. (Rt. 38) Geneva.

Interment will be private.
