Paulina Martyniuk, age 85, of Hanover Park, formerly of Geneva, passed away Thursday, August 15, 2019 at her daughters home in Hanover Park with her loving family by her side.
She was born November 9, 1933 in the city of Ivano-Frankivsk Ukraine the daughter of John and Natalie (Simanuk) Martyniuk.
Paulina worked at Burgess Norton for 25 years. She was a devoted mother, sister, aunt, great aunt, and friend who will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her daughter Helen (Ron) Baird; niece Anna (Marty) Sakiewicz; nephews Michael (Debbie) Wolowina and Stefan Wolowina; great niece Tanya (Tom) Adams; great grand nephews; Cody and Ty and great nephew Nick Tchoryk; and many other dear friends and co-workers.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters Sophia, Katia, Anna, and Maria.
Visitation will be held Friday August 23, 2019 from 4:00-8:00 pm at the Malone Funeral Home 324 East State St. (Rt. 38) Geneva.
Interment will be held privately.
Funeral Service will be held Saturday, August 24, 2019 at 11:00 am at the Baker Methodist Church, 307 Cedar Ave, St. Charles, IL 60174, with Dr. Alfred Patten officiating.
