Patrick J. Mullen, Jr.

Patrick J. Mullen, Jr., age 54, of Geneva, passed away Sunday, April 9, 2017 at Journey Care in Barrington.

He was born February 19, 1963 in Evergreen Park, the son of Patrick and Rita (Parker) Mullen.

Patrick received two bachelor’s degrees, one in math from Purdue University and a second in music from Valparaiso University.  He then earned master’s degrees in both computer science and math from Indiana University.  Patrick worked for many years at Firm 58 in Chicago as a software engineer.  In his spare time he enjoyed scuba diving.  However, his favorite pastime was spending time with his family and he will be dearly missed.

Patrick is survived by his loving wife of 18 years Laura (Fell); daughters Ally and Josie; siblings Jim of Inverness, Tom of Gary, IN, Kate of Chicago, Maureen of Chicago, and Dan of IN; parents of Gary, IN; and many other dear relatives and friends. 

A celebration of life ceremony for Patrick will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2017 from 1:00 – 4:00 pm at Penrose Brewery, 509 Stevens Street, Geneva.
