Nadia (Horoshko) Bjelajac

Nadia Bjelajac, age 76, of Geneva, passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2018 at Delnor Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

She was born June 22, 1941 in Ukraine, the daughter of Ivan and Evdokia Horoshko.

Nadia worked as a bank teller for many years.  She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and reading.  However, her favorite pastime was spending time with her family and she will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her daughters Leda Gasiorowski (fiancé Rich Roedger) of Geneva and Vera Munn of California; grandchildren Milla, Lily, Ivan, and Boris Munn; sisters Vera Bazarnyj of Elgin and Halia Cyhaniuk of Wood Dale; and many other dear relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her devoted husband of 51 years Milorar who passed away in 2012.

Funeral service will be held Sunday, February 11, 2018 at 4:00pm at the Malone Funeral Home, 324 E. State St. (Route 38) Geneva with Father Victor Poliarny officiating.

Burial will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, memorials made to the Naperville Area Humane Society, 1620 W. Diehl Road, Naperville, Illinois 60563 would be appreciated.
