Michael "Mike" Montana

Michael (Mike) Montana, also known to many as “Spike”, age 53, of St. Charles, passed away Saturday, December 8, 2018.  Mike was born June 29, 1965 in Winfield, IL, the son of Adolfo and Linda (Thompson) Montana.

Mike was a specialty trade contractor. His free time was spent fishing and boating, enjoying family gatherings, spending time with lifelong friends but most enjoyed being an uncle.  He was a loving son, brother and uncle whose gentle demeanor and huge heart will be dearly missed.   

He is survived by his parents Adolfo and Linda Montana; siblings, Cindy (Tom) Butler of Batavia; Al (Connie) of Batavia; and Angela (Dan) Stephl of Wasilla, Alaska; nephew and nieces Danielle Butler, Rachel Butler, Jordan Montana, and Allison Montana and many other dear relatives and friends.  

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Evaristo and Paula Montana and Robert and Irene Thompson.

A visitation for Mike will be held Saturday, December 15, 2018 from 12:00 pm-3 p.m. with a funeral service immediately following from 3:00-4:00 p.m. at Malone Funeral Home, 324 E. State Street (Route 38), Geneva with Deacon Greg D’Anna officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to a charity of your own choice.
