I have many fond memories of Linda, one of the most compassionate human beings ever. Every time we met in the hall at Coultrap she would have an optimistic comment, often "auf deutsch," that expressed her outlook on life. Mary Ann and I recall the dinner at your house when Duain Wolfe was among the guests. You both traveled in sophisticated circles. Our condolences to you, Loy, and to Carl, who is still a middle school student in my aging memory

Loy and family:
Sorry to hear of Linda's passing. She fought, with dignity, a tough battle over the past years. I think of her fondly from the times that our paths crossed. The two of you enjoyed life fully and with deep appreciation for each other. Hold close those memories of time together.
Sorry, that I missed the memorial service. I just read today of the timing.
