Julie (Bricher) Schreiner, age 52, formerly of Geneva, passed away peacefully on April 26, 2018 at her home in Ormond Beach, Florida, surrounded by family and friends.
Julie was born July 25, 1965 to Tom and Karen Bricher where she grew up on the family farm in Geneva. She was married to the love of her life, Jim Schreiner and blessed with 22 wonderful years of marriage.
Julie enjoyed traveling with her husband, meeting new people and entertaining. She was an incredible self-made interior designer and decorator. Julie suffered from psoriatic RA from the young age of 16. Through grace and dignity, Julie championed her disease and made it her mission to share her trials and tribulations, pain and eventual failings with others. She believed she could bring love and encouragement to others by showing them how she lived her life. She started every day as if it was a Bright Sunshiny Day, with a smile on her face, kind words of encouragement and endless stand up hugs. Her facebook posts will be greatly missed by many who knew her and many who have never met her but followed her daily.
Julie is survived by her husband Jim Schreiner; Mother Sr. Karen Bricher; sisters Patty (Bob) Brown, Joan (David) Durovey, Mary (Brad) Meyer, Hope (Chris) Collins, and Katie Ryan; brother Steve (Loni) Bricher; and many dear nieces and nephews.
Julie is preceded in death by her father Tom Bricher; sister Heidi Hennig; and in-laws Jim and Myrt Shriner.
A Funeral Prayer Service will be held Sunday, June 3, 2018 at 2:00 pm at St. Peter Catholic Church, 1891 Kaneville Road, Geneva. Following will be an open house Celebration of Life at Riverview Banquets, 1117 N. Washington Avenue (Rt.25), Batavia from 3:00 to 7:00 pm. Her family would love for you to come and celebrate Julie’s beautiful life that has touched so many.
