Josefina R. Luis

Josefina R. Luis, age 91, of Geneva, Illinois, formerly of Crystal Lake, IL and Laredo, TX, passed away Thursday, November 29, 2018, at Delnor Hosptial in Geneva.

She was born November 5, 1927 in Mexico, the daughter of Josef and Felicitas (Hernandez) Ramirez.

Josefina worked as an assembler at Northrup Aerospace Defense for many years.  She will be dearly missed.

 She is survived by her daughter Juana (Al) Garcia of Orland Park, Maria (Carols) Villalon of Lake in the Hills, Teresa (Peter) Hoffman of Burlington, WI; daughter-in-law Linda Luis; grandchildren Antonio (Gina), Leticia (Sam) DeGrazia, Carlos (Norma) Villalon Jr, Michelle (Roberto) Acvedo, Melissa (Nathaniel) Meyer, Hilary (Brandon) Siben, Peter (Stacey) Hoffman Jr, Robert (Danielle) Hoffman, Justin Hoffman, John Charles Luis, Jeffrey Luis; and many other dear relatives and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of over 50 years Isidoro who passed away in 2006; son Juan Jose Luis; grandchildren Fernando, Adrianna, and Steve Luis; sisters Maria DeJesus, Lupe Hernandez, and Martha Papdia.

A Funeral Service will be held Monday, December 3, 2018 at 11:00 am at Malone Funeral Home with Father Jonathan Bakkelund officiating.. 

Burial will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park in Elgin, Illinois. 

Visitation for Josefina will be held Sunday, December 2, 2018 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Malone Funeral Home, 324 E. State Street (Route 38), Geneva.
