Jim was born on December 1, 1931 in Belvidere, the son of Francis and Madgelene (Fane) Crawford. He received a degree from St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa and had very fond memories of his time there.

He will be remembered for his outgoing and loving manner. Jim loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his daughters Linda (Jason Fogg) Crawford of Oviedo, Florida and Maureen (George) Walrath of North Aurora, Illinois. Jim had five loving grandchildren Madilynn, Lauren, and Brooke Walrath as well as Jackson and Riley Fogg. He is also survived by many dear relatives and friends.
