Harriet T. (Jarzebski) Zawada

Harriet Zawada, age 63, of Geneva, passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2018 with her loving family by her side.

She was born July 10, 1954 in Chicago, the daughter of Jan and Antoinette (Golonka) Jarzebski.

Harriet graduated from the University of Illinois Chicago.  She was a store manager at the Good Cents Children shop in Geneva for many years.  Harriet loved walking, especially when visiting her children in downtown Chicago and was an avid reader.  Her favorite pastime was spending time with her family and she will be dearly missed.   

She is survived by her devoted husband of 42 years Jeffrey; children Stephanie, Gregory, and Valerie all of Chicago; mother Antoinette of Chicago; siblings Christine (Jim) Vrentas of PA and George of Chicago; and many dear nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her father.

Services and interment for Harriet will be held privately.
