Harold Lawler Obituary

Harold J. Lawler, age 91, of St. Charles, Illinois, passed away Sunday, September 9, 2018 at home.

He was born January 18, 1927 in Chicago, the son of Thomas and Josephine (Schreiber) Lawler.

Harold graduated with a PHD and became a teacher as well as a writer for many years. His favorite pastime, however, was spending time with his family and he will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his children Thomas of St. Charles, George of Chicago, and Richard Lawler of Virginia; sister Julia Lawler of Michigan; and many other dear relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Services will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Anderson Animal Shelter, 1000 S La Fox St, South Elgin, IL 60177 would be appreciated.
