Gregory J. “Greg” Olejarz, age 70, of Geneva, passed away Saturday, February 17, 2018 at home with his loving family by his side.
He was born July 8, 1947 in Chicago, the son of Joseph and Constance (Anuliwcz) Olejarz.
Greg proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a jack of all trades and was very good at fixing things. He loved his motorcycles and especially enjoyed taking his grandsons to car shows. He was a devoted family man and will be dearly missed.
Greg is survived by his wife of 46 years Rose Ann (Penning); daughters Kari (Bryan O’Neill) Smith of Wheaton and Tina (Kent) Munsterman of Sugar Grove; grandchildren Brennon (Emily) Smith and Trigg and Knox Munsterman; brother James of Evergreen Park; and many other dear relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Arnold.
Visitation will be held Friday, February 23, 2018 from 9:30 am until the time of the Celebration of Funeral Mass at 10:30 am at St. Peter Catholic Church, 1891 Kaneville Road, Geneva with Father Ariel Valencia, Celebrant.
Interment will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Peter Catholic Church, 1891 Kaneville Road, Geneva, Illinois 60134 would be appreciated.
