Barbara "Sue" (Alexander) Collier

Barbara “Sue” Collier, age 74, of Geneva, passed away Sunday, August 6, 2017 at her home with her loving family at her side.

She was born February 28, 1943 in Indianapolis, Indiana, the daughter of Van and June (McClellan) Alexander.

Sue worked in sales at Geneva Home Works.  She loved gardening and had a great sense of humor.  She adored spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter, she will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 53 years Larry; children Laura of Evansville, Indiana and Alex (Demaree) of Geneva; granddaughter Mia; siblings Richard “Dick” (Rose) of Florida, David (Carlene), Joyce (Vincent) Disborough, and Donna all of Indiana; and many other dear relatives and friends.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents and brother James.

A visitation for Sue will be held Saturday, August 12, 2017 from 11:00 am until the time of her memorial service at 1:00 pm at Malone Funeral Home, 324 E. State Street, Geneva.

Burial will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Drive, Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.
