Arshi Mamaj

Arshi Mamaj, age 75, of Addison, passed away Monday, April 8, 2019 with his loving family by his side at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield.

He was born February 12, 1944 in Albania, the son of Mhuarrem and Nevro (Myrtaj) Mamaj. 

Arshi attended military college and was employed by the Albanian military where he specialized in accountancy.  He married Pranvera Doraci in 1969.  He loved to walk and spend time with his family.  He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be dearly missed.

Arshi is survived by his devoted wife of 50 years Pranvera (Doraci); sons Leonard (Kara) of Lake In The Hills and Arben of Addison; grandchildren Brenner and Bennett; siblings Metka, Saliu, and Xhulla all of Albania; and many other dear relatives and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents. 

A visitation for Arshi will be held Saturday, April 13, 2019 from 9:00 am until the time of his funeral service at 11:00 am at Malone Funeral Home, 324 E. State Street (Route 38), Geneva.
