Ann C. Jaschob, age 102, of Batavia, passed away Sunday, March 18, 2018 at her daughter’s home in Chicago with her loving family at her side.
She was born January 27, 1916 in Geneva, the daughter of Jack and Rose (Ottani) Forni.
In her spare time, Ann enjoyed crosswords, jewelry and playing cards, especially Scopa an Italian game. She was kind and loving and will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her children Ramona (Larry Barkley) Pasetti of Chicago and William” Bill”(Susan) Pasetti of Cortland; step-children Sharon (John) Vorel and Sandy (Kent) DeBruycker; 5 grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 11 step-great grandchildren; sister Helen McDonald of Batavia; and many other dear relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Elmer, Joe, and Louis Forni; daughter Diane Kinney; great granddaughter Abigail; step-granddaughter Cheryl Vorel; her first husband Severo “Speed” Pasetti who passed away in 1966; and her second husband Roy Jaschob who passed away in 1995.
Funeral Prayers will be held Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 9:30 am at Malone Funeral Home, 324 E. State Street (Route 38), Geneva proceeding to St. Peter Catholic Church, 1891 Kaneville Road, Geneva for Celebration of Funeral Mass at 10:30 am with Father Ariel Valencia celebrant.
Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Geneva.
Visitation will be held Friday, March 23 from 4:00 – 8:00 pm at Malone Funeral Home with a liturgical wake service at 7:45 pm.
