OBITUARY:

Helen A. Cordier age 93 of St. Charles passed away Sunday July 18, 2010 at her residence surrounded by her family.

Helen was born June 22, 1917 in Chicago, IL. the daughter of Peter and Katherine (Schmidt) Franz.

Mrs. Cordier had worked many years as a Bookkeeper for Corval in Chicago, Nielsen/'/s Restaurant in Elmwood Park and Dominos Bakery in Chicago. She loved to play cards and was a diehard Cubs fan.

She is survived by her daughter Pat (Gene) Cooper of Arkansas and her son Ken (Mary Ellen) Cordier of Geneva; six grandchildren Kevin Cooper, Karen (Mark) Johnson, Brian (Christy) Cooper, Tracy Cooper, Dustin (Kristen) Cordier and Matthew (Julia) Cordier; seven great grandchildren Brandon, Alex, Erik, Thomas, Caleb, Audrey and Netta.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Fred in 1969.

Funeral Mass will Celebrated Wednesday July 21, 2010 at 10:30 am at St. Peter Catholic Church 1891 Kaneville Rd. Geneva with Father Martins C. Emeh Celebrant.

Interment will be held privately at St. Joseph Cemetery River Grove, IL.

Visitation will be private.
