Service: Monday July 12, 2010 at 9:30 am at the Malone Funeral Home 324 E. State St. Geneva proceeding to St. Peter Catholic Church 1891 Kaneville Rd. Geneva for Celebration of Funeral Mass at 10:30 am

Burial Location: Interment St. Adlalbert Cemetery in Niles


OBITUARY:

Adeline T. Banas, age 87, of Geneva passed away Thursday July 8, 2010 at Michaelson Health Center in Batavia.

She was born October 1. 1922 in Chicago, IL. the daughter of John and Louise (Cuga) Szewc.

Adeline worked over twenty years for Walgreens in Park Ridge as Pharmacy Technician.

She is survived by husband of 65 years Val; Children Connie (Kenneth) Kreft of Geneva and Paul (Lillian) Banas of Franklin, MA.; five grandchildren Mike (Kimberly) Kreft, Michele (Andy) Fowles, Kate (Steve) Lanci, Tim Kreft and Emily Banas; five great grandchildren Gracelyn, Jack, Addison, Ryan and Eric Fowles; Sister Jean Szczurek of Wheeling; also survived by many nieces, nephews and relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Helen Piepiorka and brother Joseph Szewc.

Funeral service will be held Monday July 12, 2010 at 9:30 am at the Malone Funeral Home 324 E. State St. Geneva proceeding to St. Peter Catholic Church 1891 Kaneville Rd. Geneva for Celebration of Funeral Mass at 10:30 am with her brother in law Father Leonard Banas Celebrant and Concelebrants Father Dennis Morrissy and her brother in law Father James Banas.

Interment St. Adlalbert Cemetery in Niles.

Visitation will be held Sunday July 11 from 2:00-7:00 pm at the Malone Funeral Home Geneva.

In lieu of flowers Masses would be appreciated.
