Mary M. Moe-Springer age 86 of Naperville passed away Tuesday February 9, 2010 at her residence.
She was born October 12, 1923 in Detroit, Michigan the daughter of Daniel T. and Mary (O/'/Keefe) Delaney.
Mary was one of the original residents of the Charles Court apartments in Naperville where she made many friends over the years. She loved playing canasta with her Monday night card club. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her.
Mary is survived by her children Francis (Mary Kay) Moe of Palatine and Daniel (Kathleen) Moe of Eden Prairie, MN. Grandchildren Kathleen (Fiancée Steve Elder) Boston, Maureen (Ryan) Rubenstein, Jennifer (Michael) Hart, Eric Moe, Colleen Moe, Lindsey Querfurth, Kristen Moe and Adam Querfurth: Great Grandchildren Kyle, Dylan and Ethan Hart and Camilla Rubenstein; Siblings Aileen Ford and Norinne Delaney; Son in Law Greg Querfurth and survived by many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by many dear friends especially the Smith family and Riley, Brodie and Reagan Barbara McIntyre.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings Lucille Keating, Daniel T. Delaney and Katherine Metzger; daughters Mary Fran in infancy and Barbara Querfurth; husband Francis D. Moe who passed away in 1977 and also her sister in law Jean Delaney and brother in laws Dick Ford, Edward Keating and Maury Metzger.
Funeral service will be held Monday February 15, 2010 at 10:00 am at the Malone Funeral Home 324 E. State St. (Rt. 38) Geneva proceeding to St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church 36 N. Ellsworth St. Naperville for Celebration of Funeral Mass at 11:00 am with Father Thomas Milota Celebrant.
Burial will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside.
Visitation will be held Sunday February 14 from 2:00-8:00 pm at the Malone Funeral Home Geneva.
