Dear Susan, John, Janet and Vince,

Michael and I are saddened to hear the news of Violet's passing. She was a delightful person and I enjoyed every encounter I had with Violet. Janet kept us up-to-date on how she was doing. Unfortunately, we have not seen her for many years. Our prayers go out to all of you. We are having a Mass said for her at our parish. I am off to an Evening of Reflection tonight and know you are all in my prayers.

Dear John and Susan,

I am very sorry for your loss. I rememeber Violet as always being so sweet. Memories mostly from Easter Sundays at Anna Tante's.

I must tell you, I wish I had known sooner about her passing but more so that she was in Batavia living at the Homstad. I certainly would have stopped by to see her as I am living in Geneva now and I would have come to the wake to see you. I have worked for Covenant Retirement Communities for 10 years and currently serving as Director of Finance for CovenantCare at Home. I now know that she had been living at Michaelson and receiving services from CovenantCare at Home. I certainly hope that Covenant helped to create quality of life for her in her last days.

I will make a donation in her name to Mooseheart. Take care.

Deb Pawelko (daughter of Frank and Barb's been many years and I was probably the same as age as my sons are now the last time we saw each other)

Dear Barbara, Frank, and Deb,
Steve and I thank you so much for your generous and kind donations to the Moose heart Child City and School in memory of my beloved mother, Violet. The last outing we took mom to on Christmas Eve was the beautiful light show at Moose heart, and she absolutely loved it. It was a memorable evening for us all. Mom's visitation and service were beautiful at Malone in Geneva last Friday, and we had a catered dinner afterwards, which was lovely also.

The nurses from Covenant Care, which we met at Michaelsen's, were outstanding and helped her immensely for the past year, visiting her at home. They gave my mother so much hope and a wonderful outlook, which I thank them for always.

I've mailed your notes, and hope you receive them soon. Thank you for all of your kindness and thoughtfulness, and I will be forever grateful to you. Thank you again, with love, Susan and Steven Sage (Violet's daughter)
