Robert L. Tracey

Robert L. Tracey, age 64, of Geneva, passed away Monday, March 12, 2018 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

He was born October 2, 1953 in Detroit, Michigan the son of John and Marie (Chermside) Tracey.

Robert received his undergraduate and master’s degrees from The University of Notre Dame and was an avid fan of Notre Dame football.  He worked in chemical sales for over 40 years.  He loved to sail and ski.  He was also very handy around the house.  His favorite pastime however was spending time with his family and he will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years Leigh Crowley; children Caitlin (Steve) Tracey of Aurora, Patrick of Fort Meyers, Florida, and Colin (fiancée Bridget) of Naperville; siblings Ann Marie (Dan Buckley) of Ohio, John (Carol) of Michigan, Greg (Karen) of Rhode Island, Carrie (Jim Murphy) of Massachusetts, Terrence of Michigan, and Curt (Erin) Lawson of Michigan; step mother Joanne of Michigan; and many other dear relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral and interment will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the University of Notre Dame, Department of Development, 1100 Grace Hall, Notre Dame, IN 46556 would be appreciated.
